Hi everyone i am Sidney, i am new on here i felt the time was right for me to join this website/forum, coz i would like to chat to other about the way i have been feeling and what i been going through, i want help and to help others. I have been on anti depressants since mid July. Not sure when or why my depression started i think it was building for about a year and half.

depression can strike at any age, and be triggered by many things.

being on medication is often a good start, though you may have to try several before you find the one that works best for you, with minimal side effects.

I am new here too. It is good to have somewhere to chat with other people who can understand what you going through.

Even if you have family and friends around you they cannot really understand what you are trying to deal with. I hope it helps you to come here to have an outlet for your feelings.
