Not sure how to start one of these threads, so here goes.

Im 32 year old male from Ireland, If im honest I have been suffering from depression for around 6 months, but only went to the doctors 2 months ago to try and see if I can get it sorted.
Was given anti depressants for a month to see if that helped, and It did to a certain extent, but I havnt been able to get back t strangers o the docs since to see what the next step is.
I had to leave my job in september as it was just getting to much at the time, I didnt know where to turn or what to do, I felt lost, annoyed at myself, lonely etc etc.
 A friend recommended this site, said it was a good place to talk, open up as you guys have been through it.

I dunno which part of the site is the correct 1 to post about myself and my circumstances, so if anyone can point or shove me in the right direction I would be very grateful

The best past of the forum to post in is the one that sounds like what sort of depression you have.

               Thanks for the reply, My depression is a result of various bits, I had a read through the general section and it seems to be the best option.
