so sorry to hear your going through a bad phase at the moment! we all have them, some more often that they would like but your here which is a great step!!

where are you with regards to treatment at the moment? if you don't mind my asking of course!

Thx for your messages.  Yes I'm on medication, 40mg citalopram, they help except when I have a melt down which I'm having now, I know I need to go back to my dr for diazapam to help me through this episode but everything is such a huge effort, it takes all my energy to just get out of bed n then I hate myself for staying in bed so long & neglecting everything.  I lost 1 of my fur babies in march & that nearly sent me over the edge, now I've been told another of my fur babies has chronic renal failure so this has just sent me so close to the edge it's unreal. Really do not want to wake up & face life.

i can understand you feeling the way you do,
some docs hate to give our diazapam, and then they give like a 2mg tablets, hardly worth it,
you could try for mirtazapine, many people use them, and the go well with cit's, they can also help with sleep.
