Disappointment

It's been a weird day.  My mood is lifting out of that awful suffocating feeling I get when depressed.  I mean, I'm depressed all the time, but now and again it sinks way down low

I have felt a huge amount of disappointment over the unsuccessful trial of my new "mood stabilisers", Quetiapine.  To be honest, the grief almost brought me to my knees.    At the start, everything was so positive.    I was jumping for joy....finally, we had found a medication that works....tut.

I'm trying not to 'down it' too much because I do feel some benefits - I'm not as anxious or paranoid and, now that I'm back on the Citalopram, I suppose my depression isn't as dark.    Suicide today - thankfully - seems a little more absurd.   But....this feeling is only for today.   Unfortunately, as we all know, the nature of the beast dictates.
