Pdoc tomorrow
« on: April 25, 2012, 01:49:02 PM »
Spoke to my Pdoc on the phone earlier and briefly told him some of my symptoms.  He hurriedly said 'Can I call you back in a few minutes so I can speak to someone?'.  He did and has arranged an emergency appointment for tomorrow afternoon with him and someone else.  Something tells me I may have to go into hospital.  If so then that may be for the best.  I am already on so many meds (4 types) so I can't see him messing around with them with me as an outpatient.  Well I don't know really, but something has to happen, even if he raised say the venlafaxine that is going to takes weeks to kick in.  I don't know if I have that long to wait.

My friend had the crisis team visiting her daily for weeks.  Twice a day at first then once.  The psychiatrist visited as well.  In my area they avoid hospital and try to treat at home. xxx
