When I'm depressed I find it hard to concentrate on anything so then I get bored  *()

hi all. i have trouble with not being motivated to do anything at all, so find myself bored. even though i know i have lots to do and there are many things i could do i still find myself too bored to do them, does anyone out there relate to this feeling.

yes I have exactly the same problem.  it is not easy to get up motivation to do anything. I'm signed off from work - and trying to motivate myself to get better to go back - but I'm scared of going back - so the thing I'm trying to motivate myself for is not enjoyable! perhaps that's where the problem lies....

I think we can all relate too this , you know you are bored too bits, you know you have things to do, but you cant motivate yourself to do it. For instance, my flat needs a spring clean but right now i cant motivate myself to do it. I know this is my depression, but like always hope tomorrow i will feel better and maybe have a go. My days are the same. i go to work, i come home,i turn radio/tv on and thats it. Friends have gone,family are fed up with me and i am alone. Nothing changes!!

I understand everything you say, we all hope tomorrow will be better and my heart goes out to you...

No, not for me...it makes me not enjoy the things I used to to the same degree, but it doesn't CAUSE boredom for me.
