Title: Anzac biscuits

I think these are yummy, I believe they were made for the Australian and New Zealand armed forces in the war - I couldnt get the vegan version to set properly for some reason but they tasted OK

ANZAC BISCUITS

put in bowl:
   1 cup porridge oats
   1/2 cup dessicated coconut
   1 cup plain flour
   1 cup brown sugar
Add:
  125g melted butter
   2 tbs golden syrup
   1/2 to 1 tsp bicarb
   1 tbs water
Bake 175 - 180   15 - 20 mins till golden

   250g coconut butter (1 1/2 cups melted)
Add:
   4tbs golden syrup
   1/2 to 1 tsp bicarb?
   1  1/2 tbs water
Bake 175 - 180   15 - 20 mins till golden

They sound loverly and could be some thing else to add to my diet of oats seeds beans and pulses

thats a deal,  what sort of recipe would you like?  Dhal, quninoa, curry?  All veggie of course :)
