Title: My body is happy again now
Post by: Amanda_George on August 30, 2019, 01:32:57 PM
Saw the doc for the first check-up on my newest prescription and remembered to ask her about taking the Calcium with it 'cos I hadn't taken it for 3 weeks after reading the Patient Information Leaflet that came with the new pills.  The doc said it was OK to keep taking them, but to space it out by a few hours between my newest prescription and the Calcium so that it didn't affect the absorption of the prescription pills, so I've just taken the first Calcium and my body has kinda gone "what the... I didn't realise we had lunchtime pills to take too... what are... oooooh!  That feels sooo good!  It'll take a while to build the supplies back up again, but it's good to have the full set of supplements being taken each day again!"  My body is relaxing now that it's got everything it needs again.

It's 8 pills a day in 3 sessions but if that's what my body needs then I'm totally OK with that!

There's vitamin B1 (which I was incredibly short of when I was hospitalised in 2002) in the multi I take every morning, but I wonder if I should start boosting that every day too, like I do with the B12?  Or would that be too much??

Thank you Pip!  Within a couple of minutes of taking it I could feel my whole body relax and it's a relief to be able to rattle again with the blessing of a doc!  It's 8 pills a day, every day, but if that's what my body needs then I'm happy to take them!  After finding that supplement yesterday though, I'll be able to top-up 3 vitamins that I'm short of in one tablet instead of just the B12 too.

Our puppy is coming home on weekend release again in the next half an hour so that will improve my mood even more!
