I'm overweight according to the over 40's MOT I had back in October.
Steve's depression means that he rarely finds the motivation to cook and because of my unsteadiness it's dangerous for me to cook so we've had 2 home-cooked meals in the last month.
We both need to lose weight 'cos Steve's clinically obese and I need to lose a couple of stone to get me back to my ideal weight. I'm getting so fed up of take-aways and nothing I say motivates Steve to cook for us.
If I refused to eat unless it was cooked at home and only having 1 take away a week as a treat for a few months to hopefully shock Steve into cooking for us again, would that be classed as an eating disorder please?
I realise that the suggestion is extreme, but so is spending £100 a week, every week, on take aways!
What do you all reckon please? I don't *want* an eating disorder but I'm so fed up of take-aways every day too!
