Title: Vitamin B12
Post by: Amanda_George on May 08, 2015, 05:45:39 PM
If, like me this morning, you don't feel your ADs are still effective or if you're not on any at all, try 2 things that I'm a devoted to now that I've had such an amazing effect from them both personally.

First up, take a peek at Amazon and search for "vitamin b12 oral spray" (including the quotation marks, just copy and paste it exactly as it's written) and order one of them.

Now make an appointment with your GP and plead with him/her to test your vitamin B12 levels... I reckon, as a person who's BTDT, that your B12 levels will be low.  If they are, you'll be offered a course of intensive B12 injections over 10 days.

Your B12 spray will turn up in a few days time.  Read the instructions that come with it, but do not take it until after you've had the blood test.  Take it with you and open it up as soon as you're relieved of a vial of your blood.

If you're low in B12, you'll feel the effect of the spray by the time you get home.  If your blood test shows you are deficient, that first injection will give you a taste of genuine happiness.

If not, the B12 spray hasn't gone to waste, you can still use it when you need a quick pick-me-up and you can't take too much of it because you just wee out any excess.

Give it a go... you've only got a few quid spent but the potential to feel a lot better, very soon... give it a try, just to shut me up?   :tongue0015:

I'm not a medical bod, just someone who's been there and done that, but I reckon doctors should test patient's vitamin levels (especially B12) before prescribing AD's 'cos the person may be vitamin deficient instead of depressed.

Also from personal experience I reckon everyone who is depressed should start taking vitamins (especially B12) every morning just to see if it helps.  I know you may not appreciate how much vitamins help... I certainly didn't until I started taking the B12 but they really do work if you are low on the vitamins you take!

It may not be an immediate "rush" like the spray is for me, but it really can help you to feel better than you do now!  Give it a try?  Just for a few months and note down every positive and negative for the entire trial, just to see how it affects you?  :happy0158:

Get a multivitamin from your favourite chemist or PM me and I'll give you the URL of the online supplement shop that I swear by!
