Slugs have eaten the second attempt at beetroot and pigeons have been pecking the lettuce,  I am not amused   *(* *(* )_- )_-

Oh how infuriating.  I have a raspberry bush that is too young to bear fruit yet and tomato plants in the garden and fortunately nothing has been near them yet.

I think I do, Ive planted some more in trays and will transplant whenbig enough but its really annoying :(

Oh yuk. If I find one I put it in with the chickens, they love them. They fight over it, chasing each other to get to it (http://depressionforums.co.uk/dpf/mobiquo/emoji/E057.png). S x x x x

Just browsing and came across this post. The slugs have eaten everything in my garden too. But I have a dog and 2 cats and 3 children so I never know a safe way to get rid of them short of using a crate of beer ( which my husband would probably take issue with!) ?! Any ideas ?

I despise slugs and snails, that's my secret phobia. Having hedgehogs usually helps in that regard.

A flagrant disregard for animal welfare. Slugs getting torn apart by feathery monsters in punishment for yielding to their gastronomic necessities - such holocaustian times do we live in.

Its horrible when they get got by the slugs. So much effort for them to be eaten. :(.  S x x x x
