Title: New person
Post by: Yosra on November 29, 2009, 03:45:14 PM
Hello, I think I'm meant to introduce myself here, so hi.

Erm, I'm 19 and have just started at uni, and have had problems with depression, hallucinations, and anxiety since I was a child, because of my family life. I've been in some form of counselling, be it school counselling, CBT or psychotherapy pretty much every week since I was 12. It was very difficult to move out this year because of controlling family, but somehow, I managed it.

Nevertheless, moving away from the source of my problems hasn't eradicated them. I was just wondering whether I should join a forum like this, because although my friends are wonderful people, it's very difficult sometimes to reach out to them for help when you're worried about hurting them too.

I hope everything will be okay for everyone.

^&* sometimes it easier to talk to complete strangers even if it is on a forum  *() as people don't know you in real life.  Moving away doesn't get rid of problems but sometimes it does help having that distance ;) .
