Hi everyone,
I'm completely new to the idea of sharing my problems with other people but I stumbled upon this forum and realised that there are a lot of people who can relate to my own situation. In short, I suffer from chronic depression and anxiety, I'm taking a high dose of sertraline every day and basically just trying to get by. I'm only 23, I have no family and at the moment am in my third year of a psychology degree although I'm having a bit of a down turn just now and finding it really difficult to stay positive. I guess I'm just looking for someone else to be able to tell me they genuinely understand what it's like to have to live like this every day. I've been through a lot of unfortunate and traumatic events and really want to believe that I won't feel like this forever but so far, seven years and counting, things seem to get worse, not better.
Peace and happiness to you all
