Title: That was a surprise to read!

We all know that there's an election around the corner and I had letters put through my door from a couple of the candidates and only one of them had contact details on their letter, so I popped an email over to them and they replied in 12 minutes answering all my questions and they even mentioned that their party was going to tackle the three biggest killers - one of which is suicide (along with cardiovascular disease and something else that I've already forgotten) which I didn't even hint at in any of my questions to them, so for them to have a plan for helping to tackle suicide and MH in general was a real eye-opener!

That's amazing that you got a response let alone that quickly,  To be honest I'm very disillusioned with all the parties so the chances of me voting in the general election is slim.

You are so right, Pip.  Hopefully whichever party gets in will take the issue of MH and suicide seriously!
