I'm prescribed 40mg of Citalopram to take each night.
I wasn't intending to, but I've just accidentally taken 2 pills (80mg) instead of one and I'm in a bit of a panic about it now.
Should I stop worrying about it or phone NHS Direct or go to A&E or phone the out of hours GP please?
It happened because Steve started talking me as soon as I'd swallowed the first pill and I forgot I'd taken it until I swallowed the second one... yes, my memory really is that bad and yes, totally serious too!
I only took one of the Olanzapine (anti-psychotic) fortunately otherwise I would be phoning for an ambulance in a panic right now! :chin:
So, what should I do... do I just go to bed and hope I wake up tomorrow or phone NHS Direct or the out of hours GP or something else please?

Well, I'm awake and fine, so the double dose didn't kill me, what should I do tonight though? Do I take my pills as normal or do I miss tonight's dose and just take the Olanzapine?

Sorry I missed this :-[ how are you now?
I used to take Citalopram and took too many one day as I was so depressed (neighbour from hell problems) but fortunately didn't have any adverse problems.

I'm fine, didn't take either of them the night after and just carried on as normal after that... I was a bit of a panicky Pandora! :scared003: Won't be doing that again! :bash: lol
