Ive been on 20mg a day for 7 days now, I know it can take 6 - 8 weeks for them to work, but how will i know when they kick in?
Will i all of a sudden feel happy? Not feel tired and have energy?
Luckily, not having many sides at the mo, just yawing and feeling tired. Do the sides get worse in the 2nd week?

There isn't really a rule as to what is likely to happen first. People always used to say that the more
physically based symptoms tend to shift first, sleep, appetite, energy levels, sexual interest. Thoughts and feelings tended to follow. There is probably some truth in that.
Side effects often occur early in treatment, maybe from the first dose, and then tend to wear off. They aren't particularly likely to arise in the second week. Hopefully you'll end up with none. That's the case for many on Fluoxetine.
