A thought came to mind when responding to another thread that it would be nice to have a 'happy' thread. A number of us have been going through tough times so it would be lovely to post things that have made us happy, put a smile on our faces and so on.
Today two dogs put a smile on my face as they came straight up to us for a stroke. One was a Westie who put his paws on my knees as I bent to stroke him sAni_dogwag

This morning my sister and me have been sorting a close friends property out. She passed away recently, and we have been tasked with going through her things. Sorting things for charity etc. At times it has been sad. But we have both been laughing this morning at some of the things we are finding. So this has made us happy remembering Gwen and laughing at all the things she kept.

My toddler made me happy this morning, rocking out with his toy guitar. He was head banging and everything, to the tune of Thomas the tank engine :) xx

being near the sea makes me happy. A cup of tea in a morning makes me happy. A fox came sniffing by me last night on the beach, I was surprised to see it. It didnt make me happy but it made me smile. It looked at me, thought about coming to have a look then calmly trotted on a did a wee like a dog lol.
Fish and chips makes me happy. The sunset makes me happy. Being sober makes me happy.

The sunshine and heat we have had the past few days, despite not being out and about in it much.

I'm happy right now because I've had a shower, washed my hair, used Calvin Klein shower gel (which is gorgeous), and now I'm in my pj's under my quilt watching In The Night Garden with my toddler :)

Listening to iz can change my mood in a second he is an Hawaiian singer who has now sadly passed away he sings a remake of somewhere over the rainbow I find I can listen to that and his voice just has healing powers for me look it up on you tube if anyone gets the chance.
