Would members like The Relationship and Depression Forum to be private?

I think it could be a good idea, i think people might be feeling more comfortable talking of their issues knowing that readers may be in similar situations

I have now made this private so only members can see it when logged in and obviously still post on.

Shouldn't all guests be able to see all the boards that the site has to offer on the main page but cannot view posts unless they are members.

There should be an option in admin panel or code for it surely.

Yes there is an option for people to see categories but not posts.  Some boards I think could still stay visible and of course it helps with the forums being picked up on search engines.  In the next few days I will make a start on making other boards private.
