I used to take 8mg a day for my epilepsy, until I had to come off it because I kept falling asleep. From a  psychiatrists point of view it is just another benzodiazepine with all the disadvantages , especially addiction, neurologists don’t seem to worry so much about that. But be prepared for some serious sedation.
