Title: Did you return to work?

Just wondered how long it took or even if you managed to return to work after a major depressive episode?

I've currently been off work for 2 months and still am not ready to return. My work is a major contributor to my depression.

I worked right up to going into hospital and I've been out a week and I'm going back to work today. Maybe not the wisest of decisions on my part...

I have been off work for the 5months now. Was due to go back after Christmas. But the way i feel right now,i find it hard to imagine that i Will ever go back,especially to that workplace. I teach and although on this occasion work wasn't the cause of my depression,pressure from the workplace is hindering my recovery. My workplace can be am extremely stressful place and since being off i have come to the realisation that no allowance and very little support Will be given when i return. So therefore i am determined not to give way to pressure and return to early,because otherwise i am goin to be back to square one!
