Title: hello
Post by: Sorry on July 21, 2010, 04:56:44 PM
hi, I've never joined a forum like this before, I'm 17 and just wanted to talk to some other people in the same situation

I feel very alone, like my friends have nothing better to do than spend time with other people, my family are permenantly dissapointed in me, and don't believe that I will get good exam results. Its the summer and I seem to have spent 2 weeks alone in my room. I feel a bit like everything is pointless and I just want to cry
I used to self harm and had bulimia, my parents found out, and I think I made them more disappointed, so I'm trying to stop. I don't know any ways of coping, can you suggest something to take my mind off those?

Thankyou for reading
x

Hi, I've not long joined myself  :) I hope you have had a few better days since you posted?

Families are one of those things we learn to cope with- I've tried fitting in with mine for many years but I still don't understand them and they don't understand me... point is, you have to be there for yourself and make things right for you.

Good luck with the exams, nerve-wracking I know,

Rachel

Hi there 'sorry'

I've just joined this forum too so I'd like to welcome you on behalf of all the newbies. As you know being able to discuss these things, even in the virtual world, can be of enormous help, so here's hoping!
