Title: My Molly

My cat Molly was put down today

She was old, ill and senile, but she was mine, and I loved her, and I am very sad tonight

I know it was the best thing for her, because she was in pain and her quality of life was deteriorating rapidly, but I will miss her so much

RIP Molly

Aww Kate, I feel for you. It's awful to feel so powerless, and having to put them down, even though it is the best for them.
I can imagine you must be feeling very sad, and missing her.
I have always found that the passing of an animal loved one is as sad and filled with mourning, as the passing of a human loved one. They are so close to our hearts and in many ways, closer than our friends & acquaintances; they see us warts & all.

Let us know how you're doing. Hope you are OK.
