Title: What is happening to me?
Post by: jamtart on June 07, 2012, 03:50:09 PM
Well still here so i suppose thats good.

A rather odd thing started happening to me yesterday. I know its coming on from the symptoms i get. I start off getting a really nauseous feeling in my stomach and a tingling in my fingers and toes and they feel really hot. this then spreads up my legs and arms to my body and head. My heart starts beating really fast and i can feel it thumping really bad. I start sweating and i feel like I'm going to be sick. It lasts for about 5 minutes. Worryingly i know that i can remember something whilst this is going on but once whatever has happened has subsided i can't remember for the life of me what i was thinking / dreaming about.

This happened to me 4 times yesterday. I have had this happened to me before but never so many times in 1 day.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

Thanks x

Could it be a type of panic attack?  It might well be worth seeing your GP if you can

Make sure you mention this bit to your doctor :)

I only say this because I know people who have epilepsy and sometimes this sort of feeling can go along with an absence. Do you get any sudden sense perceptions like an unusual smell or visual disturbances? I thought twice about posting this as I don't want to worry you and I'm not a medical professional - worth mentioning though.
