Hi all,

My name is Lou, I'm 30 years old and live in the UK (the South-West to be exact). I've suffered from depression for around 8 years and often I just can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I work part-time as a cleaner (which I hate but the job situation around here is still pretty dire) and love to read in my spare time. Music is also a huge part of my life (Gothic/metal) and I love to watch films, too. I hope to get to know you all better as time goes on.

Hi Lou, sorry to hear of your struggles.  Like you an escape in a film or music really can provide the much needed shut off sometimes can't it.  I really want to get chatting people throught this forum as, like you, I have been suffering for a long time and also find it most difficul to see any light in this dark tunnel.  Awful isnt it.  Hope to spk soon.  Take care
