Post by: Zaf on April 29, 2012, 02:23:03 PM
"Go compare" with that idiotic fake opera singer  :-\

My sister hates the 'go compare advert' we laugh every time a new one comes on.

I hate the Lloys advert, think the cartoon people are scarey looking.

I shall have to look out for that one!

my favourite is probably the meercat adverts, but I doubt if I'm alone on that :)

I love them too, waiting for our meerkat to arrive in the post - postkat is bringing it in his wheelbarrow  ;).  Craig insured his van through them.

Another one I love is the Maltesa's ad, when she lifts her top up at the guy drops his papers.

Another one that annoys me is the Wonga ad  :o.

Cillet Bang - that man that does this advert sounds like he has come from the shopping channel  ::).

Others I like are - Pedigree Dentastix, where the dog has doggy dentures  ;D and Dreamies where the cat blasts through the wall  ;D.

Wil post a pic when he arrives from meerkat mansion  :).

most adverts! I have to turn them off they annoy me that much. We Buy Any Car was one of the worst ever! Moonpig.com. The Meerkat ones! ones at the moment that are using the Olympics to seel products to us! as though we havent and wont get enough of the Olympics rammed down our throats over the next 3 months anyhow. I do think that there are and have been some truly brilliant adverts though. They are in the minority though

I agree, I am already fed up of every other advert featuring some athlete or another.....

I get most annoyed by all the trip/slip/where there's blame, there's a claim/injury lawyers care about you etc etc. And although not strictly an advert, I am also annoyed by the recorded PPI phone calls we keep getting!

Rant over  :)

Our new road signs on the A14 are being used to talk about travel during the Olympic Games  ::).

We also get loads of those calls, Craig got the dog whistle the other night and blew it down the phone  ;D.

The other ads I hate are the double glazing firms, one silly little man sings 'You buy one, you get one free' ggggrrrrrr.

'Landlord Insurance'...seems to be everywhere I look. My sour grapes I know. But I hate paying someone else's mortgage for the privilege of living in a home where I can't paint the walls, change the garden and can't have a dog even when my daughter's OT reccommends it for her for therapy reasons. Makes you feel like a second class citizen in a world where everyone went crazy buying multiple homes, driving up the prices and keeping those who missed the boat firmly in the water, swimming hard, pushing along their little yacht of what they got. Now I feel bad, cos people have it so much worse, but I always thought if I worked hard in a professional job then a home of my own and a little doggie wouldn't be too much to ask. Bleh. Sorry.
