Title: Anyone had experience with Step Ahead counselling?
Post by: CharleysAngel' on April 06, 2012, 08:45:35 PM
I have been referred to this service by CAMHS and its like a counselling and confidence building service.
They come and do sessions with me at home or at school, whichever is better for me.
I don't really know much about it, has anyone else had any experience or used them before?

Sorry icelolly but I haven't had any experience.  But it sounds like a good service to me.  Just glad you are getting some help.

No experience either, but it's good that they will see you at home or school  :)

Thanks guys x

It does seem like a good service, I had never heard of them until my CAMHS appointment. They gave me a leaflet about them but I didn't have much information on it. I will have to look them up when I am on the computer tomorrow. This phone is so slow >:(

A lot of these counselling services are regional, all the counsellors will be nice. What's important is that you get on well with the counsellor  :)
