Title: Encouragement from my wife, who Encourages you

i find i do nothing and i am getting good at that, i drift off but i am still moving around i drift from one room to another checking on the kids the wife, my mind sometimes has all but given up on me  ;D are you doing anything for enjoyment are you looking as good as you can, she really puts her foot down sometimes a few examples

1, takes all my old clothes i wear all the time and chuck's them out. :o

2, buys me new clothes to wear only  :o

3, make's me going shopping with her  :o

4, tel's me to smarten myself up, i can feel how i want inside but she has to look at the outside.  :o ;D

4, gets me to shave (see above)

5, invites me to all the schools doo's  :o

6, made me contact a mental charity for extra help  :o

7, gives me task's to do around the house  :o

8, encourages me to just be me for a couple of hours  :o :o

9, tell's me to enjoy what i am doing with the children try to feel the enjoyment

10, try's to encourage my old hobbies  :o

i do respond to her word and i do try to help and get the good feelings to last so post who/what gives you a lift. and remember it's hard for them to.

Wow, your wife is so supportive  :) that must really help you.

I have a fantasic husband, who picks up the pieces and holds the family together when I've been really down. When I'm high he helps control me, ( now we know). I really don't know where I'd be without him.

You have a fantastic wife by the sound of it LR.  I am very lucky too my OH Craig is very good too.

You.ve got one lovely wife there, so strong and supportive. My OH is brilliant when I'm down with looking after the kids and the house but I get most of my emotional support on here as he don't really understand.

My wife gives me a lot of encouragement. But i think she is also now suffering with depression (not severe), which is to be expected if she has to put up with me :) Ive just got sod all motivation at the moment.

god stevie you sound like me! I am sorry to hear this but you are a very kind and encouraging person who has helped me loads today

Stevie and Alex you may not have people right near to you but you have us here and we care.  I know this is not the same  but you are not totally alone with us.

I have my OH who is lke a rock when i'm down, she drags me out of bed even when I can't be bothered "£" I don't know what i'd do without her. I find this place helps as well.
