Okay, okay! Before you vote, hear me out. I know I may sound like one of those crazy LSD damaged hippies who lives in a basement (I'm not, I promise) but there is some pretty solid stuff suggesting there's a chance it's possible.
I dusted off my old Xbox today, and found the video game version of 'The Matrix', which reminded me of an article I had read a while back, saying that it might not be as science fiction as we think it is. So I snooped around on the internet, and there is a staggering amount of people saying things varying from "Yes, we are definitely in a simulation" to "There's a 20% chance we're in a simulation". If you think about it, top scientists and computer experts believe that by 2029, we'll be able to fully upload the human mind onto a computer. We could literally start a new civilization, identical or similar to the one we already have. Now the thing is here - there is literally nothing against the idea that that is what is already occurring to us right now, and you honestly can't fully disprove it. If you've seen the movie 'Inception' (You should if you haven't), it would kind of be like that: a simulation within a simulation. Matriception :P.
Think about it, it's not impossible in the slightest.

No, not a simulation bu sometimes wonder if higher beings are watching us rather like those ant aquariums we used to have at school!
-
I guess there's no way of knowing!
-
Probably not!
-
I sometimes wonder if we're existing like in the film 'Horton hears a hoo' (perhaps a bit of a simplistic comparison) but like we are all on a flower or a something the size of a pin head...
-
I was thinking along those lines too, I read a book where the main character was spirited away to a universe in a drop of water on a blade of grass, weird but thought provoking!

Thinking about it too much will probably confuse me and make my mind hurt :P

No because someone would have either hit pause by now or returned to the start and chosen a new charator
-
They could very well have done that. Think about all the empires that have fallen. Could that not be pressing the restart button? And what about our sense of time? What if we're programmed not to recognize time stopping, this being pressing the 'pause' button. They could have the technology to make everything seem seamless, so that we don't know when time is being paused.

Thinking about the enormity of the universe and how tiny we are in comparison or how tiny atoms are and that they are mostly empty space does that for me ...
