I found this in the kitchen window sill one morning - Rachel left it so i would find it when I did the washing up. It made me cry:
Hang In There.
I know that things are tough
right now and you may feel
alone but please remember
others care and you're not on
your own. Just try not to
forget to take things day by day
and anytime you need me
I'll be with you all the way.

brilliant Glen, I can understand why it made you cry xx

God love her :'( :)

Doubt I will ever get one of those.

From the qualities you have shown here Stevie i would say quite the opposite. Try not to be so hard on yourself, a lot of people would love to have a partner as understanding and caring as you have been on here.

Nah....I dont see why I want to stick around someone I love when I know I will mess up their life. I am not even depressed and I still think that.
It is free to hang around with me, I will befreind anyone who wants to be befriended, but I have my life to live and it is too I tense for other people. I can't be cared for, I wouldn't manage that role in a relationship. I can look after myself and will take the rough with the smooth, but I dont want to put anyone else through it. Thats the hand I was dealt. I promise the world and it is real for a while, then I fall appart and I bring them down with me.
This is all true, and as far as I can see, rational.

I understand Stevie.
I will still hold out hope for you that somebody out there can change that one day. You never know.

Damn dust getting into my eye!! ;) Very nice poem. :'(

Well after talking to Rachel about little things, I find this morning that the poem came from another source. My wife did leave it in the kitchen but it was given to us by a friend - a friend in fact who has just started to post on this forum.
If you read this Boo, thankyou so much. im not usually that soppy but it constantly brings a tear to my eye - I never realised it came from you :-[
I truly am a lucky man to have such close support.

You are lucky Glen, I know I too have friends and family that support me so much and its means an awful lot to me too. Think everyone who read the poem must have had a tear in their eye. Its a good one to print off and leave somewhere where we can see and read it everyday.

Boo definitely is a very special person :)

That is such a nice gesture and poem. This gave me an ounce of happiness and faith in humanity that I haven't seen in a long time.
