To Kill a Mockingbird - a story that is, at times, humorous but also very powerful and moving in the way it deals with racial inequality. It is now fifty four years since it was first published, and over thirty years since I first read it, but it helped shape my young mind and can still teach us a lot about prejudice, compassion and tolerance.

Who is your favourite composer, or musician?

Mozart  .  I like all types of music but classical is one of my favourites.  I started listening to Mozart's music more after watching the film Amadeus.

If you could choose the dream job what would it be?

Actor - Steven Seagal (sorry Stewart); Actress - Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) - they only have one facial expression and deliver their all their lines in a monotone!!

Walking the dog this morning the birds were singing and I noticed the crocuses are coming up, which brought a smile to my face. Sometimes little things that cost nothing can often make us feel a bit better.

What simple thing makes you feel better or makes you smile?

Spring. I love seeing all the new life, flowers coming up, trees coming into leaf and the best thing of all around where I live is seeing all the baby animals, lambs, calves, foals. I am a sucker for baby animals ;D

Macbeth ~ it was my English Lit teacher who got me hooked on Shakespeare and he arranged for the class to go see  film version of it.  I would like to see it as a play.

If you could change one thing about yourself (apart from depression  ;) ) what would it be?

My teeth. I had a very bad experience with a school dentist so didn't go for years, I should have had a brace but never did so my teeth are all 'wonky' and I hate them.
