Title: Had a little bit of a better day today
Post by: ohajiki on November 02, 2012, 11:29:42 PM
As per subject and it was a small thing.

I went to the gym feeling just as anxious and miserable, made even worse by my mp3 player running out of juice.

I then remembered I had mp3s on my phone and plugged in my headphones. It was the very worst of 80/90s cheese that I was showing a friend earlier in the year.

Long story short, the ridiculous cheese made me want to be silly and act like a teenager again and I started doing silly jogging in time with it. It made me smile, even just a little.

Dodgy music seemed to work this time.  ::)

Hurray! Well done!
Also, running will help you as it helps your brain produce endorphins and other very helpful neurotransmitters :)

Due to knee problems, I can only for about two minutes before having to go to a walk, but it does make for interesting dance movements.
