Title: My Dad died yesterday
Post by: Pip on February 28, 2017, 11:05:44 PM
I have known that my dad has had his health issues since 1998 and he has become frail more rapidly over the past two years.  It's still hard but he will always have a piece of my heart.

Dear Pip,

I'm so sorry about the death of your father! Parents are irrepeatable and their loss provokes great sadness. I will keep you in my thoughts!

Thank you Grace, how are you?

There is going to a delay on arranging the funeral as my Dad's case has been passed on to another coroner.  My Dad died at home so is considered a sudden death despite being 86 years old. being frail and his health failing.  My sister and I are hoping that an autopsy isn't done - it's not that we have anything against autopsies but we don't feel the need for one.

I am doing relatively well, with small ups and downs though! However with or without depression life gets bumpy at times so in these moments I just try to weather it out trying to get enough rest but continuing my activies. I still work full time though. I'm surely looking forward to get my pension in less than two years in order to do other things!

Both my parents died in hospital but it's sad to have to cope with bureaucracy during a time of mourning! I sure hope that you can celebrate the funeral soon!
