Title: New member
Post by: Will1990smith on November 21, 2014, 04:01:18 PM
Hi everyone, I joined this forum just to talk really... Sometimes I can't talk to my girlfriend or friends and I thought it might be good to be able to talk to people with similar experiences? Been diagnosed with major clinical depression/anxiety disorder for a couple of years, on 225mg Venlafaxine and I hate the stuff.

Hi Will, welcome to the forums, hope you find the helpful,
Have you told your doc hoe you hat the Venlafaxine? im guessing its the way they make you feel the next day.
There are plenty of other meds out there they could switch you over too, unfortunately its a not a one size fits all with antidepressants,

A belated welcome from me  .... been a busy weekend.  It's okay to speak to your gp over how you feel about venlafaxine.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Mental health illnesses are very hard to cope with. We do understand here as most of us suffer in one way or another.

As Stewart and Pip have already said it would be good to speak to your gp about trying a different medication. There are many different ones to try and what suits some doors not others.
