Hi, and good evening to everyone. My name is Matt, I am fairly new this sort of thing so please go easy on me if I make any mistakes in terms of etiquette. I am a long term sufferer of Depression and recently diagnosed with Personality Disorder. If there are people willing to talk I would gladly reply, I feel like very emotional and am struggling to see the light at the moment. Thats not to say I feel unsafe, just need to find that thing to cling to that can make.me think "yeah I can get through this". Thanks Matt

Hi Matt,
We respect people for who they are here and are pretty easy going as well. It does help knowing that other people understand depression and don't judge.

Hi Matt, and welcome to the forums.
depression is indeed hard to manage for a lot of people, and I would say hiding it is the worst thing to do
as that can add stress on top of everything else you are going through.
Having something to cling to can be a great help,
are you on any med's, or have family or friends you can talk to?
