Any suggestions please? A climber may be good but any other fast growing shrubs considered (must be evergreen).
Reason for enquiring is that I love watching birds (our blue tits just left home so I sad but happy too today). Well, I want to encourage robins, have bought a robin nesting box for next Spring (planning ahead!).
Whereas blue tits do not require coverage, robins do.
I took 2 ivy cuttings yesterday, goodness knows if they will "take" or not?!!
Any other ideas please?

Maybe an evergreen Clematis, you can get several types and these climb well :).

I'd say an evergreen clematis or evergreen honeysuckle :)

I think jasmenoids are evergreen too and they smell nice

How about a small tree? Cherry blossom or something like that........ if you're for attracting birds, then I would go for a plant that provides berries :)

Thank you for replies, I may try something with berries!!
