Anybody else tried CBD for pain relieve?

(1/2) > >>

Pip:
Recently I bought a jar of CBD ointment to see if it would help with pain relief and it does.  It was my choice to stop taking Tramadol and Gabapentin as I was tired all the time plus it just took the edge of the pain.  Since I've started using the ointment I have noticed an improvement although I am looking forward to getting back to swimming as that helps too.

It's fantastic that it's helped with your pain, Pip!  I swear by TENS machines but might try the CBD thing after such a glowing report from you!

Pip:
Rick uses it as well and it also helps him, the crazy thing is we have found Holland and Barrett are competitive to Tesco - we have a branch in Tesco so it's extremely handy.  It's not cheap by any means but it lasts quite a while as you don't need to use much at a time so worth every penny.

Amanda_George:
What sort of pain does it help please?  Is it like headaches or muscle pain or endometriosis pain or bone pain or something else entirely please?  Does it relax the place you put it on too, or just zap the pain?  How long does it take to work too... does it take a few minutes like paracetamol tablets or longer than that pretty please?

Pip:
Whoops, sorry I've been very preoccupied and forgot to respond to you.  I use it for muscle pain and osteoarthritis mainly which I massage into the area.  Sometimes I will rub some on my forehead and the back of the base of my neck just below where my hair grows.  It does start working fairly quickly with the sensation flitting between cool and warmth so it's quite soothing.  I think it can be used for various things but it is worth checking it out first.
