This is a hard question for me to answer.  Part of me wishes I could but the other part of me is 'saying' no as my past has made me the person I am today.

If I could go back I wouldn't have got pregnant when I did or I would have moved out of my parents.  I would have raised my son if my parents hadn't interfered. 

I am, like Shaz, strong because of what I have been through even though it has been tough and I suffered in silence for 23 years.  The positive is that I have been able to talk about my experiences which in turn has helped expectant mothers and mothers who were also coerced into surrendering a child.  They fear going 'public' over their experiences yet appreciate that I will as I'm educating people at the same time. It is hard sometimes because some people will be really nasty to me.  What keeps me going is the simple fact that other mothers appreciate what I do.

It is great to look back at the past so we can learn for the future , however we can not live in the past only the present and we should look at the past and from that we should know how to move our lifes on .

I once got asked many moons ago why are you looking for the living amongst dead

yeah its only theoretical, no one can time travel and we all have something we regret (I dont believe people who say they have none. What they didnt make a mistake once?). We cant change the past, only learn from it. I cant undo my relationship with my ex so I have to live with the mistake. Its not easy.

That's a lovely quote from Pastor and pretty much sums up how I feel.  The regrets and difficult times are what mould us as individuals.  If there is anything I would change, it would be not to worry so much what other people think or say about me.

What about you, Hulk H, what would you change?
