Hi everyone, just been messaging Rachel on FB.  Glen has had the operation, he is on the High Dependancy Unit, got back at 3pm.  Surgeon said that the colon had lost all its function and needed to come out.  He was in quite a bit of pain as the drip was not giving enough pain relief.  But morphine is starting to work.  Glen says Thanks for all the good wishes.

I have sent our good wishes to them both again and thanked Rachel for letting me know.

Will let you all know anything else as soon as Rachel has time to message me again.

Thanks for the update Shaz. Poor Glen, hope they increase his pain meds. They're both in my thoughts and prayers x

Really hoping pain relief is sorted out and Glen had a comfortable night.

Hi everyone, Glen was moved onto the ward overnight, he is sore with limited movement in his right leg as epidural is blocking the pain.   He is starting to move and Rachel is visiting at 3pm.  She will up-date again when she gets home.

Glen is posting again as well he said he has tubes everywhere and sporting a large wound.

Sent our love and best wishes to Rachel.

Also posted to Glen and said we are all thinking of him.

Hi everyone, Glen has just gone back to theatre to have the epidural resited, so hopefully it will work better.  He sat out in the chair for a couple of hours today.

Just read Glens update on FB, poor guy is not happy, first had to go to theatre to have epidural resited as he couldn't feel his leg.  Now he has to go back on steroids.
