Its destroying me.

And now I'm crying.

You can carry on, crying is good it is better than holding it all in.

Not when I need to be at work.

Please tell me what little things you do to make it through the morning.

I get like I can't breath, and all this stuff goes through my head, that I'd rather not think about.

I'm my own worst enemy at the min.

Mornings have always been my worst time too.  However hard it is I always feel better after getting a shower, sometimes it feels like climbing a mountain but I force myself to do it.  Also try some deep breathing if you are breathing fast.  Do you feel better as the day goes on?  If so just try and think that in time you will feel better.  Try not to think to far ahead, someone once told me it was like taking baby steps.

Just try and think that today will be better, its quite normal to have ups and downs, that is what makes depression so horrible.

You can do it, maybe being there and working will help.  Just keep thinking that you will feel better as the day goes on.

Thinking of you.

!+_  if work is making you feel so bad could you take some time off, either holiday time or go off sick?

I would take sick, but it would push me over the limit. So that's stressing me. And I doubt they'll give me leave.

I don't want to be anywhere.

I can't do it.

I miss her, and I love her.

Bring her back to me.

I need a kicking, get my sh*t together and she will come back.

We will be together.

Its not just me though, its her as well.

I would seriously suggest going to your GP with a list of your symptoms and getting regular (weekly) counselling via the NHS if you can even if you dont want to take meds

Agree with Zaf - see your GP if you haven't already.

Hope your day gets better :)

The waiting list is huge, and I see someone private but can only afford monthly.

I'm such a loser.

You arent a loser, you're ill with depression, we have the same problems locally about the waiting list, MIND do cheaper counselling in some cases, it may be worth contacting them.

If I could control my anxiety when she pushes me away I wouldn't be in this mess.

I know I can do this.

I'm just struggling fighting against the waves to get back on my board.

Every minute is a struggle.

And I can't help thinking everyone is better off with out me.

Anxiety is a nightmare sometimes, have you asked your counsellor for any techniques to help with it such as breathing exercises?

Thanks.

I try them. They don't work.

I did literally scream in frustration dribing home from work yesterday.

That sort of helped.

I just don't know what to do.

I need someone to tell me.

If screaming helped would some sort of strenuous exercise be of use?  When my agorophobia doesnt revent me I walk or run

I spoke to the samaritans before - but I didn't find them helpful.

I feel like now, cuz I'm so lost I need someone to just 'help me up'.

Like - tell me what I need to do.

I made it to abt 1130 with out crying.

Still at work. Just on lunch break.

Thanks guys, just need to know I'm not alone. And someone actually gives a sh*t abt me and how I feel.

What natural remedies do you try?
Title: Re: morning anxiety
Post by: Zaf on June 21, 2012, 01:01:29 PM
I use mugwort in a burner for anxiety and insomnia but havent found many of the traditional herbal remedies work for me
Title: Re: morning anxiety
Post by: trees on June 21, 2012, 01:03:38 PM
Mugwort? Ok, I'll google it. Thank you.

At the moment I chain smoke. (Cigarettes obv)  Barely eat.

What abt calms? Do they work?

You can get it from ebay if you cant find any in the hedgerows to pick yourself, make sure you get good quality stuff.

They dont work for me but with all herbal remedies some suit different people.  A word of caution - if you are taking any prescription medicines check that any herbal remedies arent counter indicated as you can become ill taking both without checking

Ok Zaf. Thanks.

It comes in waves - the feelings of dread.

I want them to stop.

Mugwort makes me very sleepy as well as calm so I'd suggest not trying to drive unless you're sure it wont have that effect on you xx

How do I stop the feelings of dread and loss?
Title: Re: morning anxiety
Post by: Zaf on June 21, 2012, 01:20:12 PM
Try hawthorn tincture for loss, I would hope the mugwort might help the dread but you could try holly flower essence if that doesnt work - none of these things are guaranteed, just things that help me
